Genetic Alliance

"A webinar is very cheap – it only costs staff time and some 1/2,080 of the annual cost of the service. Sometimes one might pay the presenters. In other cases, especially professional societies and trade associations, there is a charge as a way of making a living for the entity, and these organizations can because they consider their information proprietary.

Some entities charge for their intelligence. For example, Genetic Alliance has almost 30 years of experience working with thousands of advocacy organizations. What is that worth and to whom? (Our webinars are always free to attendees, but some argue that is a viable way to sustain an organization)."
